NSS Youth Week Report 2015-2016
Date: From 12th January – 16th January, 2016
As per the directions given by Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India to all NSS Units of colleges under the University of Mumbai for participating in youth week & voters awareness program; Wada college of Management & Science has been successfully celebrated the Youth week from 12th January to 16th January, 2016.
On 12th January 2016, Palghar district area co-ordinator oriented a lecture on Youth Day. He has given a lecture on Vote casting. Then after we begin with elocution competition where Participants such as Agoma, Mubasshhir , Abhishek & Amruta was participated on the topics such as democracy & vote casting. All NSS Volunteers has Co-ordinate efficiently on the day.
On 13th January 2016, NSS Volunteers were enthusiastically participated in slogan writing competition. This was on theme of Vote casting. NSS Volunteers has made a poster by giving message on importance on vote casting. Message such as “One step to vote One step to change”, “Vote & let the silence speaks loudly”.
On 14th January 2016, all the NSS Volunteers co-ordinated for Poster making Competition. This competition was also on the theme of vote casting. All the students showed enthusiasm towards participation. Students have participated for the same.
On 15th January 2016, the posters on the theme Vote casting & slogans were exhibited at the public place. All the NSS Volunteers co-ordinate very well for the same.
On 16th January 2016, the students took Rally of the Posters & Slogans from Wada bus depot to Parli Naka. This Rally was taken in order to spread an awareness on Vote Casting.
Wada College of Management & Science, NSS volunteers accomplished the successful NSS YOUTH WEEK as per the university guidelines & the State Liaison Officer, NSS, Government of Maharashtra, the NSS Cell, University of Mumbai. All the staff & students were co-operated very well during the whole youth week. Principal Dr. Smt. Snehal Donde Madam & Chairman Mr. Yogesh Gandhe sir directed to all participants throughout the entire activities.
