NSS Special Camp – 05 Jan 2023-11 Jan 2023
1st day-
On 05th January 2023,The most awaited NSS Special Camp was started with the theme of “Youth for Rural Reconstruction”. Around 45 NSS volunteers of our college were eagerly waiting to depart to the camp site boarded the bus at 10.30 am along with NSS Program Officer, Jatin keni. And NSS Program Officer Nargis Khan.Inauguration of the NSS Annual Special Camp 2023-2024 was scheduled at 2:30PM at Guhir Aashram Shala Taluka, palghar District.NSS Special Camp 2023-2023 programme started with the invocation song NSS Song sung. The program was presided by our beloved Principal N. R Patil Guhir ashram shala He welcomed the Gram Panchayath Member and other Member of the village and other guests inaugurated the camp by watering the plant. Principal N. R Patil Guhir ashram shala addressed the villagers, asking the villagers to participate actively in large numbers in all the programs scheduled to be conducted from 5-01-2023 to 11-01-2023 and make best use of the camp. He also encouraged the volunteers to utilise this opportunity to help all the villagers, to have a clear exposure to the life in a village and to gather knowledge on how to serve the poor and needy people of the village. Vote of thanks was proposed by Jatin Keni sir he memorized the support and encouragement in organizing the said camp. He thanked all the dignitaries and guests for their esteemed presence.After the inauguration function, everyone moved towards the Guhir Aashram Shala convention hall and had dinner at 8:30 PM followed by meeting with the NSS officers in order to discuss about next day’s programs, Grouping of all the NSS Volunteers, Assigning each group of volunteers to carry out various activities assigned to the individual group and Volunteers then wrote the NSS dairy before going to bed.
2nd day-
Seminar Arranged on Conservation of Ground water resources
On 06th January 2023,All the volunteers woke up at 6 am and attended the Exercises were performed followed by the Jatin keni sir After taking bath, all the volunteers had the breakfast arranged by group II. Morning session (9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m) started with the NSS session camp carried out by Wada college of management and science., and all the NSS Volunteers informed all the people in and around the village to make use of it. After the NSS session all the volunteers moved to the convention hall where the accommodation was arranged and had a very good lunch organized by group II. All the NSS volunteers took rest for 2 hours with the invocation song by All . After than lecture was delivered by programme officer Nargis Khan Wada college of management and science for Women, “Conservation of Ground water resources”. by playing some videos on methods of ground water conservation and recharging of bore wells. Volunteers mobilized a huge crowd and the programme was a grand success. The program ended with the vote of thanks.With this faculty had a nice interaction with NSS volunteers with lots of happiness of success the volunteers returned to the venue for dinner arranged by group II. After the dinner there was a meeting to review the day’s programme and next day’s programme was planned and wrote the dairy and went to sleep at 10:30 PM.
3rd day-
Ayurved Yoga Session organized by Nutan Soparkar madam
On 07th January 2023, all the volunteers were made to wake up at 6 am exercises were performed. Followed by this, as usual everyone had breakfast after taking bath. Breakfast arrangement was made by group III. After the breakfast at 8.30 am all the volunteers
went to venue of the camp, .Morning Session program was scheduled as Ayurvedic medications Session up and villagers had joint this session .Ayurved Yoga Session organized by Nutan Soparkar madam After the Ayurveda camp all the NSS Volunteers had lunch organized by group III and. The program started at 02:30 PM in the with the Nss song . By volunteers group and the welcome speech was given After than A guest lecture was delivered by Milind Patil sir “Eradication of superstition” . He explained about the eradication of superstition which the younger generation have to follow into order to mentally. The village people interacted with the speaker and asked few question. The program ended with the vote of thanks given by Aishwarya Raut mam . The said
faculty had a nice interaction with NSS volunteers with lots of happiness of success the volunteers returned to the venue for dinner arranged by group III. After the dinner there was a meeting to review the day’s programme and next day’s programme was planned and wrote the dairy and went to sleep at 10:30 PM.
4rd day-
Session on “Self Defence”& Tree Plantation.
On 08th January 2023 all the volunteers woke up at 6 am and attended Exercises were performed. followed After taking bath, all the volunteers had the breakfast arranged by group IV. Morning session (9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m) started with the Guest lecture taken by Ravi Rajat sir on ” Self defence session”After the Session all the volunteers moved to the campus where the accommodation was arranged and we had a very good lunch organized by group V. All the NSS volunteers took rest for was informed to make arrangements for evening session. In the evening around 04:00 P.M. Planatations of about 100 saplings in the Guhir Aashram Shala premises organized. The volunteers had digged the ground about one and a half feet and planted the trees. All the volunteers actively participated and enjoyed the plantations. After the plantations the volunteers came back got ready and had a delightful dinner arranged by group IV and this became the most memorable day and all the NSS Volunteers sung and danced and enjoyed to the maximum and it was followed by the meeting where the present day progress and future programmes were discussed the volunteer dairy was written and all the
volunteers went back to the bed.
5th day-
Oragnized Shramdan under Swach Bharat Abhiyan & Awareness Programme for girls
On 09th January 2023,All the volunteers were made to wake up at 6 am and attend exercises were performed. Followed by this, as usual everyone had breakfast after taking bath. Breakfast arrangement was made by group I. After the breakfast at 8.30 am all the volunteers went to venue of the camp, i.e.for the morning session organized by group II. After than students were given an area inside the campus which they have to clean for 45 minutes which is known as Shramdan in NSS which was under Swachh Bharat by our. Honbl.PM Narendra Modi ji.
After finishing morning program all the NSS camp volunteers headed back to venue and had lunch organized by group V and took rest for some time and went back to organize the evening programme .The program started at 05:30 PM in the evening NSS song given by Dnyaneshwar Bhosale. An awareness programme was organized by Wada college of management and science on Education for girls, The Right to vote, Health Awareness , Social Awareness for child marriage.information awareness programs by playing some skits and door to door campaigning. This evening programme was organized by group II. Volunteers mobilized a huge crowd and the programme was a grand success. The program ended with the vote of thanks given by Omkar Pathak sir The said faculty had a nice interaction with NSS volunteers with lots of happiness of success the volunteers returned to the venue for dinner arranged after than there was a meeting to review the day’s programme and next day’s programme was planned and wrote the dairy and went to sleep at 10:30 PM.
6th day-
Guest lecture conducted by Indian Cricketer Mayur Dumasia sir on “motivational lecture camp “& Guest lecture “mediation Session ” given by Mr. Sudhir Sir
On 10th January 2023,2023 the day began with yoga and stretching exercises everyone went back to their rooms and got ready quickly and had a cup of tea at 9:30am and all the volunteers started towards to organize morning programmes.Guest lecture conducted by Indian Cricketer Mayur Dumasia sir on “motivational lecture camp “(from 10:30 am to 1 pm)After finishing morning program all the NSS camp volunteers headed back to venue and had lunch organized by group IV and took rest for some time and went back to organize the evening programme .The program started in the evening with the invocation song by group of volunteers and the welcome speech was given by Mrs. Aishwariya mam The evening guest lecture “mediation Session ” given by Sudhir Sir Principal, P. L Shroff College of Arts and Commerce. There was a good crowd and the program was a huge success. The program ended with the vote of thanks given by Nargis Khan The said faculty had a nice interaction with NSS volunteers and encouraged them to contribute to society as much as possible and they also complimented the volunteers for very systematic arrangement of camp and programs. Teachers wished the volunteers all the best and also distributed sweets which they brought to the volunteers. After the program the volunteers came back got ready and had a delightful dinner arranged by group IV and this became the most memorable day and all the NSS Volunteers sung and danced and enjoyed to the maximum and it was followed by the meeting where the present-day progress and future program were discussed the volunteer dairy was written and all the volunteers went back to the bed.
7th day-
Presentation of the NSS Camp report
On 11th January 2023, Valedictory function was organized at Guhir Aashram Shala Convention Hall. After the breakfast all the groups started their assignments of packing, cleaning, venue preparation etc., The Program started with the NSS Song as invocation song. Invocation was by NSS Volunteers Bhuwan Thapa. welcomed the guests. And than presented the NSS Camp report in front of the dignitaries on the Dias with few highlights of the camp like Plantation of saplings in the In the Guhir Aashram Shala,dam construction, Tree plantation, Awareness for education, awareness for child marriage and ayurvedic camp etc. Administrative officer of our college presided over the function and N. R. Patil principal of Guhir ashram Shala was the guest of honor. Indian cricketer, Mayur Dumasia sir, member was invited as Chief guests and were present on the Day. Jatin Keni sir proposed the valedictory speech. Apart from these dignitaries, Guhir Aashram Shala student Co-Ordinator were present in the function which made the function more colorful and cheerful. Sri. N. R Patil wished all the best for the NSS Volunteers for their future endeavors and was very happy with various programs which were conducted in the 07 days camp and also wished everyone and asked to conduct the camp once again in the village and to serve the villagers. He also told the youth to actively participate in social activities. And appreciated all the activities which were organized and conducted by the NSS special camp held for 07 days at village and congratulated all the volunteers for more actively involving and providing various services to the villagers. Mr. Shivanna, N. R Patil Sir was very happy with all the programmes which were conducted and congratulated all the volunteers for completing the NSS special camp with great success. Best NSS Volunteer awards were given to Ayush Patil, Karan Patil, Ankita. Kumar, Tanisha Bhanushali. At last the students unwillingly packed their luggage’s and headed back to the college with life time memories. After thanks giving program we starts return journey towards WADA.
