WCMS College has provided counselling facility for college students and its teaching as well as non-teaching staff. Counsellor Mr. Jayant Patkar is available in college on every Saturday between 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm. Students were informed regarding the counselling facility at the beginning of the year via Notice which was displayed on notice board as well as was read out in their classes.
This counselling service is to help students in their various issues like studies, career as well as for their any personal issues. Those students who want to take this facility have to give their names in the counselling register kept in our college library. The students are only to give their name and contact information in this register and need not to mention their problems here but they may disclose the same to the counsellor only. Whatever discussion the student and counsellor have is kept confidential and is not disclosed to anyone. The counsellor then gives them appointment schedule on student’s contact details after receiving list of those students’ who want to meet counsellor.
Counselling sessions are taken one to one or sometime in group as per the need. Seminar is also arranged for the students for their personality development.
